Call for Mini Symposia

We are inviting Mini Symposia proposal submissions for the upcoming ICASP15 in Melbourne, Australia. Submissions can be made via the Submission Portal below.

All Mini Symposia proposals must follow the instructions and be submitted online by 23:59 AEST Tuesday 1 September 2026.

About Mini Symposia Proposal Submission

Mini Symposia proposals are to include a theme suggestion that is aligned with the Conference topic of Application of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering.

There are no submission fees for Mini Symposia submissions.

The format of Mini Symposia may vary. Symposium organisers are responsible for submitting the Mini Symposia submission. If accepted, the symposium organisers are also responsible for the submission of a final symposium abstract and for ensuring that all speakers in their session submit a completed abstract and register for the conference.

Symposium organisers must acknowledge and ensure that all participating speakers understand they are responsible for their own conference registration fees, and travel and accommodation costs.

Information Required

As part of the Mini Symposia submission, you will need to include the following information:

  • The title of your symposium (max. 10 words).
  • Names of the Organiser(s), and their affiliation(s).
  • Symposium summary: An abridged description of the session (max. 300 words).
  • Desired theme.

How to Submit

Submissions must be lodged through the Submission Platform. Follow the prompts to create a login and submit your Mini Symposia. There are no templates for Mini Symposia; the submission format will be “type in the box”.

You will receive a confirmation email after your successful submission. Please contact the ICASP15 Secretariat (program@icasp15.com) with any questions.

  • No submissions will be accepted via email
  • Please do not include references or acknowledgements in Mini Symposia submissions

Terms and Conditions

By submitting a Mini Symposia submission, organisers acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. All authors have approved the submission.
  2. Presenters will be available to present if selected and will register for the Conference.
  3. Submissions must be received by 23:59 AEST Tuesday 1 September 2026.
  4. Submissions will only be accepted through the official portal.
  5. Titles must be concise, descriptive, and free of abbreviations.
  6. Proposals must be written in English and thoroughly proofread.
  7. Standard abbreviations must be spelled out at first use. Symbols may be used where appropriate.
  8. Only one Mini Symposium submission will be accepted per person.
